Motivated by the very concept of internationalization, the University had opened the discussion on the potential of shifting its academic calendar from June-March to August-May which will affect the basic and tertiary schools of the University.
To significantly aid the decision making process, the University tapped the unit for the conduct of an institutional survey to determine the opinion of the more immediate stakeholders who are the students, faculty members, employees, and alumni.
Additionally, with the upcoming implementation of the senior high school program in the basic education level, likely enrollees were also involved in the survey. Grade 10 students from selected public and private junior high schools across the province of Nueva Vizcaya were involved as respondents.
The initial result of the survey was presented to the Extended Advisory Board (EAB) members on October 14, 2015 at the University Boardroom.
